PODIUM GAMES S.R.L. owns and operates the website www.podium-games.com and the Podium Games application.
PODIUM GAMES S.R.L. is a company under Belgian law with its registered office at Rue de Liège, 5, 4357 LIMONT, registered under number BCE 1009.933.613 (hereafter the “Operator”).

The Operator has appointed a Data Protection Officer under Article 37 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679. This officer ensures compliance with personal data processing obligations.

1. General

The Operator processes Users’ personal data in line with this Privacy Policy and in compliance with:

  • The Belgian Privacy Act of July 30, 2018
  • Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 (“the Rules”)

By using the Site, Users are deemed to have read and accepted this Privacy Policy and guarantee that the information they provide is accurate.

The Operator processes certain personal data for legal compliance and authentication purposes. This does not require User consent (Article 6.1.b) and c) of the Rules).

By using the Site, Users grant explicit, informed consent for further processing.

Requests must be made following procedures in Article 7.5. The Operator responds within one month.

5. Data storage & retention

  • Data is hosted in Belgium in secure Data Centers.
  • Retention: minimum 10 years for legal obligations.
  • Deleted once no longer necessary, or at the User’s request.
  • Possible transfers outside the EEA only with adequacy decision or EU standard clauses.

6. Operator responsibility

  • Processing is lawful, fair, transparent.
  • Technical measures: anonymisation, encryption.
  • Organisational measures: audits, impact assessments.
  • Transfers to third parties only under law, service provision, or User consent.
  • Security incidents reported to the Data Protection Authority and Users if high risk.

7. Miscellaneous

7.1 Register of processing

The Operator maintains a full register of data processing activities.

7.2 Amendments

The Operator may amend this Privacy Policy. Updates are binding once published on the Site.

7.3 Evidentiary value

Electronic documents and data have the same probative force as paper documents.

7.4 Supervisory Authority
